Both are restored and very liveable. They are ex-C&O cabs 903556, and 904115, the former a cupola cab and the latter a bay window. I'm always happy to respond to fellow caboose owners or those that are trying to get one, spot it etc. Rune Olav Strandaas - Norway rune.strandaas@ostfoldnett.no ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Randy Tegnazian - Queens New York, NY RTTAZ54@aol.com ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: Interesting connections. Wish i knew about you earlier since it took me hours to get some of thr railroading connections i now have. Edward D. Thornton - Yorklyn, DE e.t.@worldnet.att.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: Fine family project! Win Tucker - Northvale, NJ flambeau@bellatlantic.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: Hi guys Im retiring to WISCONSIN next year - Looking for a CABOOSE to restore. Do you know of any sources out in midwest land?? REALLY enjoyed your site. Could use any info on Purchasing -- MOVING -- & restoring CABEESE. Gert Velthuizen - Warmond in the Netherlands ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: What is wrong about a train without a caboose ?? But seriously Great idea, now that is will be a story with a beginning and an ending. Have to hurry now, my teacher is coming. Oh no, I am not a high school kid, but a full grown man trying to getr a bachalor degree in logistics. Have fun. Adrian Walby - Thirsk, North Yorkshire, England a.walby@virgin.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: Great site, well worth a visit. I'll be back!! Howard Wallace - Del Valle how3367@swbell.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bill Waller - Bethel Park, PA wsw1856@nb.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: I am glad to see what you are doing. Every time I go out, I think that sometime soon, all that blue will be black and that our chances of seeing (and shooting) it will fade into "I should have, could have, would have, but never did". Having grown up along the B&O and close to the Pennsy and later the Reading, I kick myself for all that I missed on film (even black and white). Now Conrail is about to join the rest. Tom Wedge - New Milford, CT twedge@snet.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: I found you on www.athearn.com LYNKS Enjoy Conrail and its past railroads, so I signed on to the CR Cyclopedia and have been talking to Bob Waller a few times about operations in my town, and most recently about photos that I have to contribute. Tony White - Stamford, CT DRMTony@prodigy.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: I am currently involved in the restoration of NE-5 # C-627. This site is of great value and will be used alot. I'm looking for more info on this caboose. Jeff Wires - steubenville, ohio JWIRES@PRODIGY.NET ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: I very much like the detailed information and photos of prototype freight cars. Some of the photos are not very clear (such as in the gondolas section), but still great to have this information available. Keep up the good work! Edwin Wolf - Walnut Creek, CA bowolf@webtv.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Curt Yanok - bridgeport, ohio cyanok@hgo.net ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments: I model Conrail and visiting this site was a pleasure! Thanks for being here, C.Y. |
