N-8A Class Data
39 cars 23622-23679 ex PC 23622-23697 ex NH 637-709 broken, mixed with NE-6 class.
PC modified ex NH NE-6 clas cars. Bay windows were added and cupola windows plated over. There may have been some N-8B(former NE-5) either mislabeled or mixed in with this group.

Modeling the N-8A
All scales
I was not aware of any plastic models of these cars, I am sure there were some brass versions made. The ex NH NE-6s have rivited side sheets and would be more of a challenge than the former NE-5s. The roof is peaked with a single raised panel on each section. The added bays and blanked windows would make for a challenging kitbash based on the model mentioned below.
Wayne Yancey adds : As a fan of the New Haven , I found a Banch Line kit # 11305 ( Round House Products) that represents the NE-6 in HO scale. The only thing that might be off in appeance a double rivet line just below the window line.
