38 cars 18860-18890 ex CNJ 91500-91549. Northeastern type, window at stove was blanked when cars were assembled. These cars were supplied as sub-assemblies to the CNJ by the RDG in 1941, they are similar to the RDG NMl class. Andrews trucks were used. Three ex L&NE cars acquired by CNJ do not appear to have made it to Conrail. 580(CNJ 91552) now at Steamtown in Scranton, PA, 581(CNJ 91551) and 584(would have been CNJ 91550?). |

HO Eastern Car Works or Life-Like Proto 2000 Northeastern. The LifeLike car has the correct windowless ends, use the same parts from the Eastern Car Works kit. These cars require blanking of stove window and addition of awings on cupola. The awnings can be fabricated easily from strip styrene, see drawing. Other scales? |
