N-4A Class Data
60 cars 18800-18857 ex RDG 94002-94074.
Northeastern type, steel, riveted. No windows in ends. Three of the four inner windows were blanked and sealed windows added to most of the cars by the RDG. 18815(94038) had sealed porthole windows installed in 1958. Former RDG classes NMo and NMp. Built 1944 and 1948. NMo's originally were equipped with Birdsboro trucks, and the NMp's with Taylor.

Modeling the N-4A
HO
Eastern Car Works kit or Life-Like Proto 2000 Northeastern are both excellent models. Both of these cars have windowless ends, some cars require the addition of window inserts that are available from your local hobby supplier, see the article listed below.
