CR 18759 taken in November 1980 at the wye at Lurgan, this was the cab on the Shippensburg Local.

RDG NMl 92891 is owned by Rich Hafer, this car is sometimes
used on the Liberty Limited Dinner Train.

N-4 Class Data
59 cars 18705-18763 ex RDG 92834-92928.
Northeastern type, steel, riveted, Duryea cushion undeframe. No windows in ends. Three of the four inner windows were blanked and sealed windows added to most of the cars by the RDG. 18705(92875) and 18754(92899) had sealed porthole windows installed in 1958. Former RDG classes NMj, NMk and NMl. Built 1936, 1937 and 1941. NMj's originally were equipped with Andrews trucks, NMk's with Taylor and the NMl's with Birdsboro.

Modeling the N-4
HO
Eastern Car Works kit or Life-Like Proto 2000 Northeastern are both excellent models. All of these cars have windowless ends, some cars require the addition of window inserts that are available from your local hobby supplier, see the article listed below.
